I’ve recently been told that this blog has become boring and degenerated into nothing but dry theology. Here’s one small attempt to prove otherwise. Stay tuned for more dry theology next week.
A poll was taken in California asking if people thought illegal immigration was a serious problem. The results showed that 29 percent said, “Yes, there is a serious problem.” But 71 percent said, “No es una problema seriosa.”

That not only made me snicker, but I had to read it outloud to my husband and got to speak in Spanish on a Saturday morning! (Thereby proving this blog is anything but dry and boring).

Theology is anything but dry. Sharing the truth and drinking it in is like the tree planted by the water, and it's roots go deep, and fruit is bore in abundance.

Gracias, Mike. I think. I don't actually speak Spanish. I only know a few words and phrases.

With my broken Spanish, I tried to express appreciation for TTT, while framing my son Josiah as an antagonist: "I like it here at the Thirsty Theologian, no matter what little Josiah says." Of course, at 6 months Josiah doesn't say a peep. However, he is beginning to look rather longingly at my morning cup of coffee! He's making progress.
