I had to really listen closely to this to try to see what you were getting at.
The only thing I can see(and it may be that I will just be showing my ignorance) is that Dr. White's parable is just as sub biblical as Dr. Geisler's.

It seems to me that the unsaved do NOT know they are in a burning building and about to perish. They are merrily going about their God rejecting life. On the cross Jesus prayed "Father forgive them for they know not what they do."

Paul say this in 1 Cor 2:7-9
"But we impart a secret and hidden wisdom of God, which God decreed before the ages for our glory. None of the rulers of this age understood this, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory."

No person would be about to burn to death in a building and refuse to be rescued. I think that may be an extremely unusual case. Remember the picture of the people jumping to their deaths on 9-11.

I just see his parable as sub-biblical.
