If the Bible is to be believed — and you know I believe it is — the statement above is patently false. At the same time, however, I believe it’s true, in a way, and biblical.

False yet true? I think we have a problem.

Sometimes, it feels like I'm "faking it" as a parent, because there are times when things are quite simply beyond me. However, I don't think it has to be that way. We have to have some kind of plan. Getting the plan is hard, though, because every kid is different, and when we parent, we go into it rather blind, because we've never been there before.
