Lord’s Day 13, 2018

I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go to the house of the Lord.”

O come, let us sing for joy to the Lord,
Let us shout joyfully to the rock of our salvation.

—Psalm 95:1

VIII.
Life and Immortality brought to light by the Gospel.

How blest am I! no snare I fear,
While Jesus keeps his dwelling here:
His presence chases death away,
Enliv’ning with continual day.

By Satan’s rage I stand unshook,
My hopes are founded on a rock:
Christ is the stone on which I build,
My castle, guardian, helmet, shield!

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Please don’t miss worshiping with your local congregation
if you can possibly help it.
But if you’re in need of a good sermon, try these.
