An Empty Netser


I bet you think that’s a typo.

We just returned from a grueling day in the big city. The highlight of the day was seeing a server at Starbucks, bald as Kojak, in a hairnet. Rules are rules, I guess, and it’s nice to see them enforced evenhandedly.

Also, I enjoy incongruity, so it made for a pleasant interlude in an otherwise difficult day.

And that’s all I’ve got today. See you tomorrow, maybe.
